Harris Pratt Incorporated in a non-profit corporation founded by family members for the purpose of helping family members and others to achieve career success by becoming better, stronger, and wiser as they journey through this life. 

Harris Pratt Inc is producing a storybook series "Career Wise- Life Foolish." One book is published each year starting in 2025. Book #1,  co-written by Jim Harris and Savahn Jordan, and published by Back Wood Publishing House, owned by Savahn Jordan. 

The storytelling challenge is an annual opportunity given by invitation from HPI to members of the My Heritage family tree site. Invitations are delivered at the annual family reunion.

This opportunity features awards and prizes won by family members each year. These awards and prizes are announced at the annual family reunion. 

2025 CAREER SUCCESS AWARDS - $3,000

At the 2025 family reunion, 3 career success awards will be issued. 

1st Place: $1,500

2nd Place: $1,000

3rd Place: $500 

INVITATIONS

 Invitations are emailed to My Heritage family tree site members. Those who accept the invitation tell their career success stories at the family reunion. 

The stories they tell must use this 12-step hero's journey format. 

1. The hero has a dream or discovers an opportunity  
2. The hero obtains a mentor 
3. The hero decides to embark on the journey 
4. The hero is tested and demonstrates new skills or is challenged to demonstrate new knowledge
5. The hero forms allies and identifies enemies
6. The hero gets to know his or her allies and friends
7. The hero experiences a trial or an ordeal that transforms him or her.
8. The hero realizes that something profound has happened.
9. The hero battles enemies to demonstrate the change
10. The hero realizes  opportunities to benefit from his or her transformation. 
11. The hero enjoys a better life. 
12. The hero makes a presentation to inform others of his or her new life.

Each year, their stories are updated with new opportunities, new goals and dreams, new situations and circumstances, new challenges, decisions made, and the events they have experienced during the past year that impacted their lives. The stories they tell are recorded on video, and posted to the HPI YouTube channel.

The Harris Pratt Family Storybook is a historical fiction book that traces the series of family reunions (from 1960 to 2020) planned and conducted by the daughters of Earnest Lee and Annie Pratt Harris. There are 13 chapters. Each chapter features stories told at these events by family members from various households and generations.
